I'm providing this install because it was posted to the public and Quicken Inc has removed this from their site, but it is still needed for old versions of Quicken.
The process here is twofold, you run QCleanUI to clean up the Windows Registry from old versions of Quicken. And you remove old Intuit directories that Quicken installed.
To run QCleanUI download both QCleanUI.exe and MSIClean32.exe to the same folder, and run QCleanUI, and select to remove all versions of Quicken. If at all possible, do this before you do the regular Quicken uninstall. The Quicken uninstall will remove the starting key that QCleanUI tells MSIClean32 to start with, and as such might do nothing. You might have to follow this up with a normal Windows uninstall of Quicken, but in most cases, this should also do the uninstall if it is there.
Then you need to go into the C:\ProgramData and either delete or renaming the Intuit folder there (note for Quicken Subscription the folders have changed to Quicken instead of Intuit).
You also need to delete or rename the Intuit/Quicken folders in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming.
You should also check for them in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local
If "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quicken" is still there you should also remove it and anything in it (C: will be the drive that you installed on).
WARNING if you have other Intuit programs like TurboTax on your machine you need to be really careful of what folders you delete/renaming in that case and try to only get the Quicken ones.
